Extreme makeover for the AdSense homepage Following the facelift we gave our ad unitsat the beginning of April, we've now started the same process for theAdSense homepage. You may have noticed recently that when you sign in,it's taken on a different appearance (at least sometimes). Over thenext few days, you can expect to see this new homepage design morefrequently as we roll out this change. If you haven't yet caught aglimpse of the new layout, here's a sneak peek:

<img src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_YbURk67VlGk/RjjMwqV-ifI/AAAAAAAAAGY/esdr7xgAlIU/s400/AdSense_NewHomepage.PNG" border="0" onload="if(this.width>screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7; this.alt='Click here to open new window\nCTRL+Mouse wheel to zoom in/out';}" onmouseover="if(this.width>screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7; this.style.cursor='hand'; this.alt='Click here to open new window\nCTRL+Mouse wheel to zoom in/out';}" onclick="if(!this.resized) {return true;} else {window.open('http://bp2.blogger.com/_YbURk67VlGk/RjjMwqV-ifI/AAAAAAAAAGY/esdr7xgAlIU/s400/AdSense_NewHomepage.PNG');}" onmousewheel="return imgzoom(this);" alt="" />

Wehope you'll find this new homepage to be more visually appealing. However, please be assured that your AdSense performance and the layoutof your internal account pages won't be affected in any way by thischange.

Posted by Arlene Lee - AdSense Publisher Support Wednesday, May 02, 2007 at 10:44:00 AM
Google Accounts landing soon Spring is a time for change, when couples fall in love, the trees bloom-- and swallows and AdSense publishers both begin their migration. That's right, we've just started our first Google Accountmigration tests for older AdSense accounts. When you log into youraccount, you may be greeted by a screen like the one below, asking youto upgrade your login to a "Google Account".

<img src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_YbURk67VlGk/Rjdqm6V-ieI/AAAAAAAAAGQ/Beq0zPT4aP0/s400/EN_MigrationWizard.PNG" border="0" onload="if(this.width>screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7; this.alt='Click here to open new window\nCTRL+Mouse wheel to zoom in/out';}" onmouseover="if(this.width>screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7; this.style.cursor='hand'; this.alt='Click here to open new window\nCTRL+Mouse wheel to zoom in/out';}" onclick="if(!this.resized) {return true;} else {window.open('http://bp2.blogger.com/_YbURk67VlGk/Rjdqm6V-ieI/AAAAAAAAAGQ/Beq0zPT4aP0/s400/EN_MigrationWizard.PNG');}" onmousewheel="return imgzoom(this);" alt="" />

We'rerolling out this migration slowly, so please don't be alarmed if youdon't see this wizard in your account yet. If you like the emailaddress you're already using, in most cases you'll be able to upgradeit to a Google Account and keep the same login and password. However,if you use another email address for other Google products like Gmailand Picasaweb, you already have a Google Account and you can finallyuse the same login for AdSense. Please note, however, that at this timeit's not possible to update your login to an email address that isalready being used as a login for AdWords or another AdSense account. We're working on fixing this, and you won't be required to migrateuntil we do.

Finally, please keep in mind that only olderAdSense accounts need to be migrated, so you may not be affected. You're also welcome to skip the migration wizard for now if you like, although this means you may miss out on some cool new features!

For more information please visit our Help Center.

Posted by Dobromir Montauk - AdSense Publisher Support Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 11:45:00 AM |
